Instead of text "2 missed call" make an icon with the number under (above, wherever) it

For those that have multiple email accounts, it would be nice to see a combined total of unread emails rather than separate lines for each account.

IE instead of:
1 missed call
2 unread texts
2 unread emails in a@gmail.com
1 unread emails in b@gmail.com
3 unread emails in c@gmail.com
0 unread emails in d@gmail.com

we see:
1 missed call
2 unread texts
6 unread emails

even if the widget shows 0 events, mails, ...
and I click on it the menu should popup to open one of the apps

Have 1 event (maybe with icon) on the widget and if you click open the app (save a lot of widget space on smaller screens)

Options for skinning the background would be great!

I was thinking off:
- Add roundness to edges (define roundness)
- Load a custom background image
- Add a border (define color and thickness)
- Gradient background color, instead of solid

Add the ability to download more presets from within the app. A good example is Beautiful Widgets. You can preview, download,and apply skins from within the app.

I'd like to display the battery level (and charging status) along with the other Missed it! text.

On the standard Android lockscreen it displays the next alarm instance. I'd like to be able to have Missed it show that as well

If you have 2 Notifications like Tapatalk and Email and you don't want to look at them. Therefore a small clear button on the popup so the widget is emtpy again.

Useful for those who have an emergency or on-call email or SMS account to monitor. A repetitive "notification sound", "vibrate", and "backlight notification BLN" or "LED" notify would occur at programmable interval until acknowledged

I use greader for my rss aggregation which shows up in the notification bar along these lines: 300 new articles

As it currently stands "Missed It" tells me that I have 1 article unread.

Can this be changed to read the contents of the notification?

Provide total notifications for apps with same functions.

Example (before):

1 missed call (Phone app)
1 missed call (Skype app)
1 unread SMS/message (Messages app)
1 unread SMS/message (Kik Messenger app)
1 unread email (Email app)
1 unread email (Gmail app)

Example (after):

2 missed calls
2 unread SMS/messages
2 unread emails

As you can see from the example above, you can combine the total number of notifications for apps that are in the same category or have the same functions.

A version that's compatible with 2.1 users would be nice.

Would be great only show the the unread mail that you have received since the last time you entered to see your mails.

I mean that if you have an unread mail and you want to read it in the night (by instance) misseit don't so it every day (because yo already know that have this unread mail)

I have defined the following text:

You have [calls] [calls_str]. [nl]
You have [msgs] [msgs_str]. [nl]
You have [mails1] [mails1_str].

It works great as long as I have everything displayed all the time. If I uncheck "Always show output" all the numeric/string parameters text are only shown when an event occurs, but the static strings 'You have.' are always displayed nonetheless.

Can you please make the static text follow the same rule as the numeric/string parameters and show/hide similarly as the numeric/string parameters do?

I've got a layout which has several items separated by a single space. This is fine, but I also have these items hidden when they aren't active.

So I define something like:
[item1] [item2] [item3] [item4]

When all items are active except item2 (for example), there's a gap of two spaces between item1 and item3, which makes it look inconsistent.

I've tried including the space as part of the name for the monitored application, but that gets stripped off. The ability to tell MissedIt to reduce multiple whitespace characters to just one would be useful in this case.
