Instead of text "2 missed call" make an icon with the number under (above, wherever) it294 votes
For those that have multiple email accounts, it would be nice to see a combined total of unread emails rather than separate lines for each account.
1 missed call
2 unread texts
6 unread emails89 votes
Add the ability to download more presets from within the app. A good example is Beautiful Widgets. You can preview, download, and apply skins from within the app.84 votes
even if the widget shows 0 events, mails, ...
and I click on it the menu should popup to open one of the apps44 votes
Have 1 event (maybe with icon) on the widget and if you click open the app (save a lot of widget space on smaller screens)42 votes
Options for skinning the background would be great!
I was thinking off:
- Add roundness to edges (define roundness)
- Load a custom background image
- Add a border (define color and thickness)
- Gradient background color, instead of solid
Hope you like the idea's!40 votes
Provide total notifications for apps with same functions.
1 missed call (Phone app)
1 missed call (Skype app)
1 unread SMS/message (Messages app)
1 unread SMS/message (Kik Messenger app)
1 unread email (Email app)
1 unread email (Gmail app)
2 missed calls
2 unread SMS/messages
2 unread emails
As you can see from the example above, you can combine the total number of notifications for apps that are in the same category or have the same functions.34 votes
On the standard Android lockscreen it displays the next alarm instance. I'd like to be able to have Missed it show that as well22 votes
I'd like to display the battery level (and charging status) along with the other Missed it! text.22 votes
Especially useful for the JellyBean lockscreen.
That's what I want to know when I take a peek at my phone: time and missed events. Unfortunately, this has to be combined in one widget. But should not be hard to implement.22 votes
If you have 2 Notifications like Tapatalk and Email and you don't want to look at them. Therefore a small clear button on the popup so the widget is emtpy again.18 votes
Would be great only show the the unread mail that you have received since the last time you entered to see your mails.
I mean that if you have an unread mail and you want to read it in the night (by instance) misseit don't so it every day (because yo already know that have this unread mail)
Useful for those who have an emergency or on-call email or SMS account to monitor. A repetitive "notification sound", "vibrate", and "backlight notification BLN" or "LED" notify would occur at programmable interval until acknowledged17 votes
I would like to be able to hide my notification bar, but I like being able to tell when I have a notification waiting. I don't want to list all of the apps I want to be notified for individually. For example, I'd like to be able to have Missed Calls, SMS and Email listed separately, then one more item for all other notifications. This way I could pull down my notification bar and see what app needs my attention, all while maintaining the look I want with no notification bar visible.15 votes
I use greader for my rss aggregation which shows up in the notification bar along these lines: 300 new articles
As it currently stands "Missed It" tells me that I have 1 article unread.
Can this be changed to read the contents of the notification?12 votes
Add the ability to count only notifications whose title/text matches a certain pattern
add a configurable offset, so that i. e. always 1 is substracted from the current count except for count<offset
that way i wouldn't have my im+ always show 1 new message because of its static notification11 votes
I would like to see an option of showing a little alert badge over each app icon, instead of a number, when there are items waiting. The number is nice, but I'd rather know that an app wants my attention instead with a little symbol than knowing how many individual items are there.10 votes
Under my point of view, an option like this has much more sense if it is implemented on the launcher that is showing the badges.
I'm using three different Gmail accounts on my phone. I would like all new e-mails to these accounts to be added in Missed It. For example, if I get 1 new e-mail to account A, 2 new e-mails to account B and 1 new e-mail to account C, I would like Missed it to add them so that the widgets show 4 unread e-mails.
Currently, my widgets need three lines, one for each accounts. I would prefer using only one line with all unread e-mails added.9 votes
Show iPhone Like badges on app icons like mail, iPhone, facebook and whatsapp.
Prefferably skinnable8 votes
